This is an eye opener for some Singaporeans to stop looking down on Bangladesh workers. They are not our slaves; they are not monstrous people; they are not dirty. They are part of Singapore's nation building too as they had put in sweat & blood to build our home, roads & so much more. They are a cut above us.
Many Bangladeshi workers are usually kind at heart and unfortunately most of them are usually taken for granted and looked under! These Bangladesh workers are kinder than many of the Singaporeans, because they grow up in a way which they care for others rather than a way we children indulge in live of technology, without growing up in life where we learn to be gracious, putting oneself above others.
After seeing that picture, I hope that we should not take these kind souls for granted. Such helpful foreign workers are greatly appreciated! They deserve our respect. A big salute to all the foreign workers!
So the next time, I hope that when you pass by these migrant workers, say 'Hi', give them some cash or food etc. Yes,I mean even a simple 'Hi' and a smile will make their day!
