However, I find that attracting athletes to play sports with money is not a good idea. What if there was no money reward, will there still be so many athletes in the world? Sports should not be associated with money! Below is my reason to support my view:
Firstly, sports main aim is to use maintain or improve physical fitness and provide entertainment to participants. Always remember that sports can definitely build up one’s strength physically and mentally. From my point of view, sports bring about a "healthy body, healthy mind" concept.
Secondly, sports can bring everyone together. One will learn how to be a good team player, that it takes more than one person to make a team or family and no one wins alone. In a team, everyone will get the chance to respect other people’s opinions, whether one agree or not. In short, sports can create friendships among the people.
Lastly, sports is the only best way to build one’s character. It is only through sports that motivate one to always put in 100% of effort in things they do. They will recognize their strengths and weaknesses and to be willing to work on them, gaining self-confidence. They definitely work and fight for what one believe in.
In conclusion, I find that sports should not involve huge sum of money. Sports do not define people’s income, people should define sports as a healthy hobby. To know that no matter how well or how poorly someone plays, they are loved.
